How do I choose the right size for my dog?

Our interactive size guide (above the add-to-basket button) recommends the ideal size in 30 seconds, based on your dog's weight, age and breed.

Our tip: measure your dog's chest just behind the front legs, at the widest point. It's this measurement that determines the size, not the weight.

Measure your dog lying down, from nose to base of tail, then add 10 to 15 cm for comfort.

Is it really no-pull?

Our harness spreads pressure across the chest rather than the neck, which naturally discourages pulling and protects the windpipe. It's especially recommended for breeds that pull on the lead or have a delicate windpipe (pugs, bulldogs, chihuahuas).

For dogs that pull a lot, combine it with positive training: reward walking on a loose lead.

How do I wash it?

For small stains, a damp sponge is all you need. For a deep clean, follow the instructions on the product label.

The odour-resistant fabric means you can wash it less often.

Which size should I choose for my dog?

Use the interactive size guide on the product page: it recommends the right size based on your dog's weight, age and breed. Our tip: if your dog is between two sizes, always choose the larger one. A bed that's slightly too big is always more comfortable than one that's too tight.

How do I clean it easily?

On models with a removable cover, the cover unzips and can be machine-washed at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Air-dry rather than tumble-dry to protect the fabric and the filling. For small everyday stains, a damp sponge is enough. On orthopaedic models, only wash the cover, never the memory foam.

Is it suitable for older dogs or dogs with arthritis?

Our orthopaedic models are designed for them first and foremost. The memory foam moulds to the body and relieves pressure points on the hips, shoulders and spine — a real plus after the age of 7. The raised edges let your dog rest their head comfortably. Many of our customers choose them for a senior dog, a dog with arthritis or one recovering from surgery.

Do your beds help anxious dogs?

Yes, that's the whole point of our anti-stress models with enveloping edges: they create a reassuring cocoon effect, ideal for anxious dogs, rescue dogs or dogs sensitive to noise (thunderstorms, fireworks). For the best effect, place the bed in a quiet corner away from busy areas.

Can it be used all year round?

Yes. Our beds are designed to be comfortable in every season: breathable enough to prevent overheating in summer, yet cosy and insulating in winter. No need to switch beds with the seasons.

My dog chews everything — is it tough enough?

Our seams are reinforced and the fabric densely woven to withstand everyday wear. To be completely honest, no fabric bed is fully “indestructible” for a compulsive chewer. If that's your dog (a young puppy or anxiety), introduce it gradually and supervise for the first few days.

What is your returns policy?

You have 14 days after receipt to change your mind (right to cancel). For hygiene reasons, the product must be returned clean and undamaged, in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer when the product is as described.

My product arrived damaged — what should I do?

Take a photo of the parcel and the product and send it to contact@dododog.fr. Once checked, we'll offer you a replacement or a refund as quickly as possible.
