How do I choose the right size for my dog?

Our interactive size guide (above the add-to-basket button) recommends the ideal size in 30 seconds, based on your dog's weight, age and breed.

Our tip: for an orthopaedic bed, always choose the next size up if your dog is between two sizes. That way they can stretch out fully, which maximises the therapeutic effect on their joints.

Measure your dog lying down, from nose to base of tail, then add 10 to 15 cm for comfort.

Is it suitable for older dogs or dogs with arthritis?

It was designed for them first and foremost. The memory foam moulds to the body and relieves pressure points on the hips, shoulders and spine — especially important after the age of 7.

The raised edges let your dog rest their head comfortably (much appreciated by dogs with neck problems). Many of our customers chose it specifically for a senior dog, a dog with arthritis or one recovering from surgery.

For dogs with reduced mobility, go one size up to make getting in and out effortless.

How do I wash it? Is it waterproof?

Machine washable at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Air-dry to protect the fibres. Avoid the tumble dryer, which can damage the fabric.

The odour-resistant fabric means you can wash it less often.

Waterproof inner lining: a membrane protects the foam from little accidents — handy for senior dogs and puppies still in training.

Quick tip: never wash the foam itself (it would take days to dry and lose its support). Only the cover goes in the machine.

How do I clean it easily?

On models with a removable cover, the cover unzips and can be machine-washed at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Air-dry rather than tumble-dry to protect the fabric and the filling. For small everyday stains, a damp sponge is enough. On orthopaedic models, only wash the cover, never the memory foam.

Do your beds help anxious dogs?

Can it be used all year round?

Yes. Our beds are designed to be comfortable in every season: breathable enough to prevent overheating in summer, yet cosy and insulating in winter. No need to switch beds with the seasons.

My dog chews everything — is it tough enough?

Our seams are reinforced and the fabric densely woven to withstand everyday wear. To be completely honest, no fabric bed is fully “indestructible” for a compulsive chewer. If that's your dog (a young puppy or anxiety), introduce it gradually and supervise for the first few days.

What are the delivery times?

What is your returns policy?

You have 14 days after receipt to change your mind (right to cancel). For hygiene reasons, the product must be returned clean and undamaged, in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer when the product is as described.

My product arrived damaged — what should I do?

Take a photo of the parcel and the product and send it to contact@dododog.fr. Once checked, we'll offer you a replacement or a refund as quickly as possible.

The size doesn't suit my dog — can I exchange it?
